Das Spiel BotE startet mit Raumzeit 121000.0. Zuerst entsprechen 1000 Punkte einem Jahr, ursprünglich (vom Jahr 2000 aus gerechnet) startet BotE also im Jahr 2121.


Die Raumzeit korrelliert mit der Echtzeit mittels x^3 (x=gegenwärtiger Durchschnittstechlevel aller Majors und damit der Stand der Antriebstechnik), die als Maß für die Zeitdauer einer Runde genommen wird.


Durch die eingerechnete Potenz fallen die Rundenechtzeiten, das geht von 2 Jahren am Anfang bis 2 Wochen gegen Ende für eine Rundenzeit.

(Der ungefähre Techlevel wird ganz bewußt hier nicht angegeben, um Paradoxe zu vermieden.)


Ohne eingerechnete Potenz würde es auch nicht klappen, in einem Spiel den ganzen Lebenszyklus eines Imperiums bzw. der Galaxie abzubilden.

The space time correlates with the real-time using x^3 (x = current average tech level of all major races and thus according to the stadium of the propulsion technology), which is taken as a measure of the duration of a round.


Due to this cubes the real time for one turn decreases from 2 years at the beginning to 2 weeks at the end.

(The approximate tech level is deliberately omitted here to avoid paradoxes.)
