it could maybe cause imbalance depending on how it is coded.
maybe if a player puts some security troops there, that player will get a chance to self-destruct the outpost instead of it being captured

Hi, during a game with reg, i was wondering if there is any feature of the game, to allow us to capture an outpost? Maybe it could be captured by sending troops in combat (assuming they are not destroyed) or maybe via Intelligence? Maybe even just on a Temporary basis, such as Hacking into an Outpos...

reg and i played a test game, and so far we were able to test the following in multiplayer:
1 transport to Extract Deuterium = works
2 transports (separate ships) to Extract = works
2 transports (in 1 fleet) to extract = works
So far i manged to extract around 2000 dueterium

thanks for the info, i deleted the .ini file and it works (the error window never pops up). i had to delete it from the main Documents>Birth of the empires folder as could not find any .ini file in the different game folders.
